Kunstmusik (Art Music)

This small collection of music about and for visual art features works created in collaborative projects with the artist Thomas Zehnter, as well as an exhibition music for circular and spherical objects by Monika Drobeck.

Thomas Zehnter's choreographics are paintings that are made with the help of the computer: the works of art created with a pen on a graphic pad (using various software drawing / painting tools) are processes that happen in time and can be viewed live or as a stored movie.

My musical works published on audio streaming platforms (Röslein, Yellow, Blue) are the soundtracks to these choreographics, but they can just as well be heard independently.

In 2008, the Stanzwerk in Bochum hosted the synaesthetic joint event Ohrenblicke featuring artists and musicians living in Bochum. In addition to the aforementioned choreographics, there were also works by the artist Monika Drobeck, for which I composed the „sound environment” pisquare.
